I found this article on Anti-Aging Products and it breaks them down into simple “buy” and “don’t buy” categories -much like your favorite semi-trashy, yet totally addictive magazine articles (re: Allure, Glamour). I’m tempted to try the Clinique though, just sayin’.

What’s With The Cattitude - OPI 2010Those blue cremes are so vibrant (especially the first one). I only have 2 blues in my tiny excuse for a “collection” one being a dark navy and another being slightly opaque (think the latter is a China Glaze). So these would be far from what I already own. 

Ok, moving away from OPI and onto China Glaze, who recently announced/released the names and swatches (and samples to REAL nail polish blog’s for review) their FALL 2010 collection called Vintage Vixen.

Guys, these are drool-worthy. 

So glittery, which is my favorite type of polish. For those of you who have problems applying, which I still do, glitters are your BEST FRIEND. You don’t have to worry about lines or bumps because the shimmer hides it.

Instead, pull your hair back, especially around the face. Make sure to pin back bangs too. I use aThreddies.com - $1.00! headband, preferably one with elastic and grip so you can wear them close to the hair line, and keep those flyaways from your face as well. These (pictured right) are perfect (I own several colors and also use them while at the gym).

I also use a light toner just around the hairline for days when I can’t seem to keep my lighthouse of a forehead from glaring up a room. Don’t over do it though. Removing too much oil from your face will only encourage it to produce more.

Another tip: Make sure to wash your face AFTER all of the conditioner is removed from your hair. Conditioner residue leftover on your face can cause breakouts. Washing after conditioning removes any residue.

I basically stalk Jessica Simpson’s line. (and I’m going to SWEAR TO YOU RIGHT NOW. That was the title of this post BEFORE I googled her page. Damnit, Simpson)

The jean/denim trend makes go “meh..” a good bit, but when done right, it’s way more exciting. I don’t do the Double Jean thing either - just… no. No. No.
