Apparently, 2 things are happening right now in Alabama. For one, Auburn is set to play Oregon on Monday in the search for a national title. Secondly, the forecast is calling for snow and ice.

Snow is one thing. It sends some sort of childlike panic through southern-born adults and we scatter like ants from a newly ruined hill toward our staples: milk, bread and beer. But ice? Ice is a different, and more dangerous, ball game.
