How To Clean A Nasty Car In Under Half An Hour
Friday, May 7, 2010 at 8:35PM The car was an absolute wreck, then again, it’s always an absolute wreck. And it needed to be unwrecked fast. I could literally run my hand down one side of floor board near the door frame and SCOOP up the crumbs, dirt, sand and little-pieces-of-who-knows-what. Nasty! And the extra crappy part is that it’s a new car (less than a year old), but apparently 2 boys + a busy momma = SHITVILLE on wheels.
But I had to pack and load tonight, which means that car needed to be bulldozed and because I ocassionally think like a man, I wanted the quickest way out.
Instructions:
Step One: Have a really dirty car. Have son (or helper of any gender/age) climb through vehicle and help place items in one of 3 bags: trash, toys and keeps (stuff that stays in the car).
Step Two: Remove child and bags from car.
Step Three: Open all doors to car (make sure it’s in an open driveway)
Step Four: Plug in leaf blower. Turn on leaf blower. Point into car.
Step Five: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH. All the crap in the floors, in the seats, on the floor mats, dust & junk on the dashboard and crevices MAGICALLY CLEAN.

Step Six: HAHAHHAA. THERE IS NO STEP SIX. YOUR CAR IS CLEAN AND IT TOOK 10 MINUTES.

This is awesome! Now all I need is a leaf blower.
OMG, you are a GENIUS. I love this.
Does it work if you don't have a van? I think Imma need to road test that on a toyota camry right quick.
I want a leaf blower.
I've been in AL for the last three weeks and my van didn't get washed at all while I was gone (I try to get it fully done once a month and drive-thru washed once or twice a month...I'm trying to be obsessive). THREE WEEKS of travel crud.
I want a leaf blower and a car detail.
OMG! MAE! It's not a van! It's an SUV! ::dies::
