The Swing Set

This week on B-Metro:

I’d love to feed you some crock excuse like “We wanted to show the boys the value of work ethic”, or possibly “Persistance and hard work can yeild many fruits” - you know, some truth mixed in with a life’s lesson, but no. I won’t. I won’t because whereas those values are true, they were not the reason we chose to put together a large wooden play on our own rather than calling up some day labor.

We simply figured we could do it, and that once we were finished we’d be able to turn to our 2 children and say “Look! We did this for you because we love you!” So, ok, maybe there is some life lesson involved there. However, that’s only if you take out the possibility that we are assembling this on our own because we are absolutely bat shit crazy.
