How To Say You're Sorry - Before It Happens

He climbs into my lap and sits down. He readjusts himself and turns around, then leans into me and plants a kiss right on my forehead.

Chase is being such a sweet child!

He turns around to face the television, brings his head foreword and I instinctively brace.

He’s done this before.

My arm goes up, but not in time.

He slings his head back and “CRACK!”

I’ve been head-butted. Hard.

At least he kissed me first.
